Why should we hire a wedding/event planner?

The average wedding can take 200+ hours to plan and execute. Many couples do not have the kind of time to devote to coordinating the hundreds of details that go into planning their wedding day. A professional planner will provide expertise in order to fully plan and execute an event from start to finish; they will also provide you with the knowledge and advice on the latest wedding trends and proper etiquette.We'll take care of all the details, leaving you free to relax and enjoy yourselves leading up to the event and even during the event.

How far in advance should we hire a wedding/event planner?

The earlier, the better. For full service planning, as soon as possible – it is not always necessary to have a definite date set before hiring a wedding planner as many couples prefer to have a wedding planner accompany them to ceremony and reception site bookings. However, if you are nearing the end of your planning and would only like wedding day coordination, you may contact us up to one month before your wedding.

Do you charge for an initial meeting?

No. All initial consultations are done at no charge. During the initial consultation we will discuss your event vision and get to know each other to ensure we are a good fit for one another. Initial consultations typically last an hour and evening & weekend appointments are available.

Who signs the vendor contracts?

You do. We help you find the vendor that fits your wants and needs, but we don't sign anything on your behalf. We will look over the contracts with you, if you wish, to help you identify anything that isn't in your best interest.

Will you be present at my wedding rehearsal?

Absolutely. You couldn't keep us away!

Do you offer customized services?

Yes. All of our services and packages are personalized for each client. This ensures that you only pay for what you need. If there is something that you are looking for that is not listed on our services menu, please contact us and we'd be happy to customize a service package that is tailored to your specific needs.

What does "Pricing begins at..." mean?

Our pricing is based upon a flat rate and will depend on the size and scope of your event. During our initial consultation, you will receive a customized quote that is specific to your needs. Travel fees will apply for weddings taking place outside of the Greater Pittsburgh area.

I'd love to have an Event Planner, but I'm not sure I can afford the extra cost.

We charge a flat rate for our services, rather than a percentage of your event budget. During our initial consultation, we can determine if an event planner will fit into your budget. Think of an event planner as "part of" your budget, rather than "in addition to" your budget.
